How to play

  1. Steer your otter with the mouse (or the arrow keys). On a phone, touch and drag where you want to go.
  2. Eat fish to grow. Every bite makes your tail longer.
  3. Trap other otters. If an otter swims into your tail, it's knocked out and turns into fish. Swim into theirs and you're out, so watch where you're going! Head to head, the bigger otter wins.
  4. Every 20 seconds everyone gets a question. Answer right for a speed boost. Get it wrong (or run out of time) and you lose a fifth of your length.
  5. Rounds last 3 minutes. The longest otter at the end wins. Answers earn XP and shells when you're logged in.
